Topic: Developing Relationships with Funders for Successful Grant
We have another exciting meeting planned this month. Join us to learn effective strategies on “Developing Relationships with Funders for Successful Grants”. We have invited an experienced guest speaker to share effective grant strategies for nonprofits.Please invite others from your organization or other nonprofits who may be interested in this topic. We will have a Zoom option, but I highly encourage you to attend in person since this meeting will be interactive with question/answer opportunities!
Our guest speaker has a wealth of knowledge to share from her experience working with many organizations!
HEIDI GIBSON –Resource Director - Great Falls Development Authority (GFDA)
Nonprofit cheerleader; strategic thinker; curious traveler; and lifetime community builder with 25+ years working with businesses, nonprofits, communities, regional and statewide groups. For the past 10 years, HG Consulting utilized her professional certificate in Nonprofit Management to provide clients tools like strategic planning, board development, marketing, grant writing, fundraising, volunteer management, and advocacy. Prior to this, Heidi served as the State Director for our Alzheimer’s Association Chapter and Executive Director of the Center for Mental Health Foundation serving 25 locations in Northcentral Montana.
This spring, Heidi joined the Great Falls Development Authority (GFDA) team where she secures organization focused on economic growth, diversification, and high wage job creation through business attraction, retention, expansion and entrepreneurship.
Heidi and her husband are raising vegetables, horses, guinea pigs, and a couple of feral 6th generation Montanans.
The purpose of the Nonprofit Alliance Committee (NPA)
To foster collaborative relationships between nonprofit organizations in the Great Falls community, cultivate peer mentorship and professional development opportunities to strengthen nonprofits, and increase community awareness and support of nonprofit services.
