About Us

The University of Providence is a private, Roman Catholic liberal arts university, founded in 1932 by the Sisters of Providence. The University has two schools; the School of Liberal Arts and Science, and the School of Health Professions. We offer eleven undergraduate majors (several offered online) and three graduate online majors. Anything from philosophy degrees to business administration, UP offers a variety of disciplines to meet your interests. Serving and volunteering are critical to our mission. We offer many opportunities for you to connect with God and your fellow classmates.
